Getting there. Taxis to the city centre cost approximately 20 EUR. The Alibus shuttle leaves every 30 minutes for Piazza Municipio (the port) and Naples central station (Stazione Centrale). Tickets cost 3 EUR. Hydrofoils and ferries sail to the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, and the islands of Ischia and Capri from Naples Port (at the bottom of Piazza Municipio). Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The hotel is on Via Partenope. Naples integrated metro, bus and tram system is inexpensive and efficient. The summit of the Vomero hill can be reached by funicular railway. Driving a car is not recommended within the city centre. Trains from Stazione Centrale run to Sorrento and buses connect to many of the Amalfi Coast resorts.
