Location. Set in a five acre garden of orange and lemon groves, Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria is a luxurious 19th century hotel which is centrally situated off Sorrentos main Piazza, in a cliff top position overlooking the Bay or Naples. Built at the site of the Roman Emperor Augusts villa, the hotel consists of three connecting buildings featuring ornate frescos, marble and trompe loeil murals. Pompeii is 30 kilometres away, and Naples International Airport is 50 kilometres distance, an approximate driving of 75 minutes.
