The Victoria Falls Hotel is an imposing early 20th century colonial style building situated in lush green parkland, one kilometre from Victoria Falls. Decorated in Edwardian style cream with matching soft furnishings and dark wood fittings, all 180 guestrooms include air conditioning, balconies, satellite television, complimentary tea and coffee, safes, direct dial phones and umbrellas for visiting the rain forest surrounding the Falls. Bathrooms come equipped with complimentary toiletries, bathrobes and hair dryers.
Guests enjoy the benefit of a dedicated private path which runs from the hotel grounds to Victoria Falls, one kilometre away. The hotel also offers guests use of its Edwardian swimming pool set among the landscaped gardens overlooking the falls. Other sports available nearby include an 18 hole championship golf course at Elephant Hills Intercontinental (three kilometres away). White water rafting; bungee jumping; canoeing; microlighting; game walks and drives; elephant back safaris; helicopter flights over the Falls and cruises on the Zambezi are also available in the area. There is a traditional craft village one kilometre from the hotel, while Zambezi National Park lies two kilometres away. Victoria Falls Airport (VFA) is 22 kilometres away.
