From Bologna Marconi Airport (BLQ):
Distance to Starhotels Excelsior is 11 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes drive.

Getting there. Bologna airport is located 11 kilometres from the Central Train Station, which is opposite the hotel. Every 15 minutes, the ATC Aerobus runs to the train station and the city centre. The journey takes 20 minutes and costs 4.50 EUR for a single ticket. Taxis can be found in front of arrivals and cost about 18 EUR to the city centre. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The Starhotels Excelsior hotel is located opposite Bologna Central Train Station in the city centre. Bologna is mostly pedestrianised and is compact, with many sights within walking distance of each other. An efficient bus system serves the city. Driving is not recommended in the city centre, and it can be difficult to find parking. Garage parking is available at the hotel (surcharge).

From the airport, take the Tangenziale (bypass road) in the direction of Sud/Ancona.
