Hotel Features. Located in the heart of Dublin, the Westbury Hotel is regularly the choice of diplomats and celebrities visiting Dublin. A grand staircase leads to the first floor lobby and lounge, furnished with marble floors, upholstered red velvet armchairs and antiques. A pianist plays here every day.

Decorated in pinks, mauves and reds, the Russell Room Restaurant is open all day, with fine linens, silver and crystal on its tables. The Sandbank Bistro and Bar is the hotels smart dining room with large windows and an L shaped bar. Its Mediterranean influenced dishes include sea trout and lemon sole. Afternoon tea is served in the Terrace Lounge, with red velvet armchairs and views over Grafton Streets shops. The dim lighting of the contemporary Mandarin Bar is popular for intimate evening drinks.

Driving Directions:
From Dublin International Airport (DUB):
Distance to the Westbury Hotel is nine and a half kilometres, approximately 35 minutes drive.

Getting there. Number 747 and 748 Airlink buses connect the airport to Dublin city centre, and depart every 15 minutes. Tickets can be bought from the driver and the single fare is about 5 EUR. A 24 hour service to central Dublin and Dublin South is offered by Aircoach. Local bus services regularly depart from the arrivals terminal, connecting to destinations throughout the city and its suburbs. Taxis cost about 18 EUR 20 EUR to the city centre. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The Westbury Hotel is on Dublins Grafton Street. Dublin city centre and Temple Bars cobbled streets can easily be explored on foot. Dublins extensive double decker bus system and tram network operate throughout the city and the suburbs. Taxis are available at ranks, and can also be hailed on the street. Parking in the city centre is limited and expensive, but a car is recommended for exploring further afield. Complimentary onsite parking is available.

Driving directions. From Dublin International Airport:
Follow city centre signs to OConnell Street.
Cross OConnell Bridge to DOlier Street.
Stay in left lane (note Trinity College on left).
Continue in left lane to Nassau Street.
Take second turn on the right to Kildare Street.
Continue straight to Stephens Green.
Turn left on Stephens Green.
Get in right lane, and continue to drive around the green.
On the third side, get into extreme left lane and look for St Stephens Green Shopping Centre (white building) on the corner (left hand side).
Turn left at shopping centre onto South King Street.
Take first right after the Gaiety Theatre on to Clarendon street.
Then take your first right onto Balfe Street (very short street)
Then take the first left on to Harry Street which leads to the front of the hotel.
