Location. The Hotel Sacher Salzburg is located on the bank of the Salzach River in Salzburg, Austria. Mozarts birthplace is 500 metres away, the Festival Hall is one kilometre away, and the Mirabell Gardens are a 50 metre distance. The airport is just six kilometres from the hotel.

From Salzburg Airport (SZG):
Distance to Hotel Sacher Salzburg is 6 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes drive.

Getting there. The number 2 bus runs between the airport and Salzburgs main train station (Hauptbahnhof) every 10 minutes. Single tickets cost 1.80 EUR. Taxis to the city centre cost about 15 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Salzburgs city centre is best explored on foot. The city is served by an inexpensive tram and bus system, and there are numerous cycle paths. Driving is not advised for visitors, and cars are not allowed in some areas of the Old Town.
